“Being a light in the world means allowing God’s light to shine through you wherever He places you.” – Tammy

Tammy Caudill was drawn to Fountain of Life in 1998. Tammy was agnostic at the time, but was attracted to Fountain of Life Preschool because of its positive reputation in the community. Through loving relationships at Fountain of Life, God brought Tammy back to faith and she and Alex were baptized and joined the church in March of 2000. This experience ignited a passion in Tammy to spread God’s love to others. Tammy is a marketing and public relations profession who has owned her own company and work with many non-profit organizations including the United Ways of NC and SC and many local United Ways as well as Feeding America, Second Harvest Food Bank of NWNC, Crisis Control Ministries and others. Tammy believes that it is not necessary to work for a charitable organization in order to do the work God intends for us. Sometimes we confuse “doing good” with the only one who “Is Good”. Being a light in the world means allowing God’s light to shine through you wherever He places you. We are all broken vessels, but that is how God uses us best. Though the cracks of our brokenness, His light shines. Keeping His light shining brightly means being rooted in a loving Christian community, being in worship and in God’s Word. Tammy expresses that she is eternally grateful for the loving church family God has provided to her at Fountain of Life, who not only helped ignite that fire, but keeps it shining brightly.
